The planet Jupiter started its transit in the sign of Capricorn, from 3 December 2019 to 18 December 2020 and this is the beginning of materializing your dreams and desires. While Jupiter transited the sign of Sagittarius (November 2018 to December 2019) we explored the world seeking new adventures, learned and gathered information and got into new philosophies of life. All doors were open for you to explore, heading in multiple directions or horizons; now with Jupiter in Capricorn, you need to choose a direction to build your future on and commit to this path, to develop a mature perspective with feet on the ground while shooting for the stars. Some doors will be naturally closing for you but as a result, you will go for something that is authentic and real to you and your path.
It’s about building a solid structure for your long-term future. Jupiter in Sagittarius is fun and spontaneous, represents the joy of life and the euphoria of new beginning, however in the next period, Capricorn energy will ask form Jupiter to be organized, disciplined, grounded and mature in the approach of creating the life that we want. It can be anything from creating a family, building a home, having visions of improved, status, profession and material security or wealth which will abound both personally and globally during this time. There will be a search for better ways to organize our lives and society in general, greater responsibility in public duties.
The ambitious Capricorn is an Earth sign that is linked to our material life, it also represents the Father figure, the one that provides, rules and protects the family, but it can also mean the Elder – the one that got all his maturity and wisdom through life experiences. The planet Jupiter, is the planet of expansion, good luck, improvement and opportunity, thus, with these energies combined it is a time to expand in earthly, material matters, to go beyond what is already familiar, to invest in something important for the future and collect the wisdom of our life lessons.
For this to happen, we need to develop or use exiting Capricornian skills and qualities that have to do with being perseverant, reliant, practical, logical, ambitious and pragmatic.
It is time to create the key base for our future: increasing our resources, gain a promotion or a better status, creating a business, learning a new skill or just improving existing structures and systems. We may want to take more responsibility and commit to a long-term investment that will provide a better grounding in life but it it’s also a time of reaping rewords from past work so success can reach you from anything you put your time and energy towards until now. An increased wealth, respect or status for those that have truly earned it.
We may get involved or be put into situations both personally or socially when we need to ask ourselves “What are my duties here?” “What is my responsibility?” “What are the rules, I need to comply with?” which will have the purpose to develop more our maturity.
