With Jupiter in Scorpio from October 2017-November 2018 we learned and experienced the power of healing, the expansion we can get by going deeper into our most painful wounds or traumas so that we better understand the power locked within them.
Jupiter in Scorpio was about the evolution and magnification going into the underworlds, while Jupiter in Sagittarius will be about the exploration of outer horizons.
Jupiter the planet of expansion, abundance, teaching and opportunities has already been at home (Jupiter governs both the sign of Sagittarius and Pieces) in the sign of Sagittarius for a while now; it entered this sign on November 8th, 2018 and will be transiting it until December 2nd, 2019 pushing us to grow by widening our horizons or moving on from any situation that we felt stuck in.
With Jupiter in Sagittarius we’ll feel inspired to learn new things, we’ll be more willing to pay attention and understand what is limiting our freedom of exploring and enjoying life. This can be a current job, relationship, house environment, old limiting beliefs, anything that affects and inhibits our current life and prevents our soul from realizing its full potential.
We can all benefit during this time to apply skills and qualities of Sagittarius nature, such as honesty, open-mindless, optimism, generosity. Developing an adventure spirit and attract new experiences all by having fun in the process. All these experiences can provide greater wisdom by understanding the life beyond what we currently know and are aware of, to see the bigger picture so that we are able to make better choices. We can now meet mentors and teachers that really inspire us to question and change our world view and moral values.
During its transit, Jupiter will form a challenging aspect with Neptune- currently in Pisces – both planets are connected with higher learning and expansion but the way they go about it it’s different, Jupiter operates on faith but is more ideologist and religious while Neptune is the eternal believer and it’s more spiritually orientated. With this two clashing, our current beliefs that are not grounded enough in our lives will be challenged so that we integrate them better and on different levels as faith without critical thought is delusion and growth without a moral compass is corruption.
On a good note, both planets relate to being aware and developing a higher consciousness resulting in a greater compassion, empathy, and awareness of one another’s pain during the process of healing and evolving.
Another aspect to be aware of is the current North Node (destiny path) that is transiting the sign of Cancer and that Jupiter in Sagittarius “is not fully aware of” giving the in-conjunction aspect that is forming with this point. This can indicate that our current beliefs, moral values, learning and teaching ways can be in misalignment with the current flow of the universe that is asking us to nurture, connect to our past in order to heal it, connect to our feminine and mothering nature, our inner child ( all aspects of Cancer) thus we need to be aware of where those situations are presenting in our life so that we consciously make the effort to understand and change them.
