Destiny is changing signs from Scorpio -Taurus to Libra – Aries Axis on July 17, 2023 and this transit will last from July 2023 until January 2025. Astrologically speaking, this could be considered one of the most important events for this Year and the new energy that this change brings.
The Lunar Nodes are two important points in the Astrology chart. The North Node shows us our purpose, telling us about our future, and the South Node tells us about our past. The position of the South Node helps us to answer the question: “Why am I here on Earth?” and the North Node gives us answers to the question, “What purpose should I pursue?”
What are the Lunar Nodes or the South Node and the North Node Axis?
The lunar nodes are determined by the points where the moon’s orbit crosses the Ecliptic which represents the apparent path the Sun makes around the earth. It is apparent because when we look from the Earth, we see that the Sun is rotating around the Earth but in reality, the Earth is moving around the Sun.
The Lunar Nodes are the only astrological points that move backward, not only when retrograde – but always. Because of their backward movement, they are associated with our past lives, with our karma and destiny: South Node connected to past lives and past karma while the North Node is connected to our new karma or the Dharma that will help solve our old karma and rewrite the script of our destiny.
The South Node represents all our past and unfinished business: chances you haven’t taken, dues you haven’t paid, and things you haven’t quite brought to fruition. In order to solve all of this, you need to look in the opposite direction of the Axis, aka the North Node with its unknown territory, it’s our “outside of the comfort” zone as one cannot solve an issue with the same mindset or abilities that we used to create it.
The solution to a South Node problem can be found always in the North Node. Only after we have tapped into the North Node territory we can go back and see with new fresh eyes all the stories we’ve left unsolved in the past, at the South Node – The Hero’s Journey.

Libra represents partnership, collaboration, and the other perspective it can harmonize the environment, always aware of what others need at any moment to arrive in a state of peace, harmony, and fairness. We are ready now to heal the need to be in tune with the Other (Libra) disregarding the needs of the Self (Aries). As well as needing peace and harmony so much that we fall into unhealthy pleasing, passivity, and turning an eye away from that which is not peaceful yet still requires our attention.
In other words, embracing healthy conflict can be a way for resolving these situations as a way to harmonize relationships in a way that is whole and healthy in the long run. Relationships that are fragile now will become more fragile and fall away or they will need to be forged into the Fire of Aries in order to be authentic and long lasting. Many will consider single life as the solution now, and that may be true and valid for many, however, keep in mind that this is not a time to just rebel out of a situation but to find a solution to reach an even higher expression for a relationship, partnership or collaboration.
With the North Node in Aries, we are exploring when and how we are losing the Self in relationship with Others, where and how we are adapting and compromising on our desires so the other may shine or feel comfortable in our presence. During this time, many fears of not being able to do things alone may surface to heal them as well as heal the aspects of self that we have ignored and devalued in order to harmonize with a specific environment. Also, healing the deep fear of what others think of us as a rejection wound that is controlling and ruling us. It’s time to receive back the parts we have left behind in order to please another so that we become whole again. There is freedom with claiming our needs, desires, wishes and dreams and that is the invitation that the North Node in Aries is gifting us with.
