Destiny Line changes signs to Gemini & Sagittarius
( From May 5th, 2020 until January 18th, 2022)
On May 5th, 2020 the Line of Destiny or the South Node – North Node Axis changes from Capricorn – Cancer to the signs of Sagittarius – Gemini. We could say, astrologically speaking that this is the most important event of the entire year.
When the Nodes were in the signs of Capricorn and Cancer (see article for more details) we were pushed and triggered to work on our inner world, to find the feeling of “home” and then to balance that with our work or careers; as an extent to balance our feminine (inner nature) and our masculine(outer nature).
In the next 18 months, the Line of Destiny will change on the axis of knowledge, of how we make sense of the world and as Gemini and Sagittarius have different approaches to knowledge, with North Node in Gemini, we want to learn how to “be like a Gemini” while we want to let our inner Sagittarius take a back seat – South Node.

What are the Lunar Nodes or the South Node and the North Node Axis?
The lunar nodes are determined by the points where the moon’s orbit crosses the Ecliptic which represents the apparent path the Sun makes around the earth. It is apparent because when we look from the Earth, we see that the Sun is rotating around the Earth but in reality, the Earth is moving around the Sun.
The Lunar Nodes are the only astrological points that move backward, not only when retrograde – but always. Because of their backward movement, they are associated with our past lives, with our karma and destiny: South Node connected to past lives and past karma while the North Node is connected to our new karma or the Dharma that will help solve our old karma and rewrite the script of our destiny.
The South Node represents all our past and unfinished business: chances you haven’t taken, dues you haven’t paid, and things you haven’t quite brought to fruition. In order to solve all of this, you need to look to the opposite direction of the Axis, aka the North Node with is unknown territory, it’s our “outside of the comfort” zone as one cannot solve an issue with the same mindset or abilities that we used to create it.
The solution to a South Node problem can be found always in the North Node. Only after we have tapped into the North Node territory we can go back and see with new fresh eyes all the stories we’ve left unsolved in the past, at the South Node.
Gemini and Sagittarius Axis
From May 2020 until January 2022 we need to learn to embrace Gemini energy (North Node) and to let go of Sagittarius energy (South Node).
We all have Gemini and Sagittarius in our charts, the first is about what we see when we open our eyes, the latter is what we see when we close our eyes – the invisible connections between different topics and fields. Gemini is our logical mind that wants to learn through practice and experience; Sagittarius is our abstract mind that wants to learn through theory and rules our beliefs that can also become our enemies, if we never question them.
Because the North Node is in Gemini, our lesson in the next 18 months is to “think like a Gemini”, challenge our assumptions or beliefs (Sagittarius), and approach life with curiosity finding our own light and not just that shared by others.
Most of us love what is different, exotic or from other cultures (Sagittarius) but the North Node in Gemini will ask us to look into our own garden. We first need to rediscover our own neighborhoods, immediate surrounding and to notice the details, we may have missed because we were trying to escape a reality that we couldn’t make sense of because we were too caught in beliefs, preconceived ideas or ideals that did not have a practical base.
While we have the Lunar Nodes in Gemini and Sagittarius, important shifts and events are expected to happen especially when the following Lunar and Solar eclipses will take place:

June 20th, 2020 – North Node Solar Eclipse in Cancer
July 4th, 2020 – South Node Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn
November 30th, 2020 – North Node Lunar Eclipse in Gemini
December 14th, 2020 – South Node Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius
May 26th, 2021 – South Node Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius
June 10th, 2021 – North Node Solar Eclipse in Gemini
November 19th, 2021 – North Node Lunar Eclipse in Taurus
December 3rd, 2021 – South Node Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius
The most influenced Zodiac signs by the Lunar Nodes change will be the Double signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces as well as those that have the Gemini – Sagittarius axis in their birth chart as they will have a new meeting with their initial Destiny to catch up on things.
